Oldham Athletic Merchandise
Oldham Athletic is an English professional football club based in the town of Oldham, Greater Manchester. The club competed in the Premier League for two seasons, but have spent most of their history in the lower divisions of the English football league system. They currently compete in League Two, the fourth tier of the English football league system.
The club was formed in 1895, and were elected to the Football League in 1907. They reached the FA Cup semi-finals in 1990, and also achieved two fourth-place finishes in the First Division in 1991 and 1992. However, they were relegated from the top flight in 1993 and have not returned since. They have had several financial problems in recent years, and were even forced to sell their historic home ground, Boundary Park, in order to stay afloat.
Despite their troubles, Oldham Athletic still maintain a strong fanbase, and are currently in the process of rebuilding Boundary Park.
