Exeter City Merchandise
Exeter City Football Club is an English football club based in Exeter, Devon. The club is currently playing in League Two, the fourth tier of the English football league system. They are nicknamed the Grecians.
Exeter City was founded in 1904 and turned professional in 1908. They joined the Southern League in 1910 and became founding members of the Third Division South in 1920. In 1960, they reached the quarter-finals of the FA Cup for the first time, and have since reached the last eight on three further occasions. They were promoted to the Second Division in 1978, but were relegated back to the Third Division in 1984. They spent 18 years in the third tier of English football before being promoted to League One in 2006.
In the 2015–16 season, Exeter City were relegated back to League Two after a seven-year stay in League One.
