Norwich City Football Club is an English professional football club based in Norwich, Norfolk. The club participates in the Premier League, the top tier of English football, and plays its home games at Carrow Road. Norwich City was founded in 1902. The club played their first ever competitive match in November 1902 against Harwich & Parkeston, winning the game 4–0.
Norwich City has won the League Cup twice, in 1962 and 1985. The club has also won the Full Members Cup once, in 1992. The club's highest ever league finish was third in the First Division in 1992–93. Norwich have competed in European football twice, reaching the second round of the UEFA Cup in 1993–94 and the group stage of the UEFA Europa League in 2019–20.
Norwich City was relegated to the Championship in 2016, and returned to the Premier League in 2020. The club's current manager is Daniel Farke, who took over in 2017.
